Zelda Ocarina Of Time Master Quest on N64 - Return to Zora's Domain

With the Fire Temple completed, you must now head towards Zora's Domain. Cross the plain, then head up the river and play Zelda's Lullaby in front of the waterfall (1) to enter the domain. Everything in the domain is frozen. The shop entrance is barred by thick pink ice. The King himself is trapped in a huge block of pink ice. Go behind him to reach Zora's Fountain. Jump across the ice platforms to reach the cave slightly to the left when arriving from where Jabu-Jabu used to be.

The Ice Cavern

Go through the corridor carefully avoiding the rocks until you reach a large room. At the back on the right, there is a switch that you will need to activate with the hookshot. Kill everyone first, it will be more peaceful.

Then take the door to the left of the switch that was just unlocked. Go through the corridor again while carefully avoiding the rocks. You are now in a large room where you will need to kill all the enemies again, then leave through the door protected by 5 stalactites that can be destroyed with sword strikes.

In the room at the end of the corridor, kill the wolfos and fill 2 bottles with the blue flame (you can fill just one but it takes longer as you need to make more back-and-forth trips). Then go to the nearest corner on the left when coming from the corridor. Kill the wolf and hit the switch. A chest appears on the other side of the room encased in red ice. Use the blue flame to retrieve the map and get another blue flame. Go back out through the corridor and take the first door on the left once in the room.

You will need a blue flame to pass through the red ice wall. Go through the corridor to arrive in a large room. To the left of the rising ice "path", there is a tiny bit of a switch poking out of the ice. Place a bomb to activate it. Then climb the path and collect the heart piece at the far right. Come back and kill the Mr. Freezard, for example with a jumping attack. Climb back up to jump onto its platform then onto the next one where you will get another blue flame. Follow the short path and kill the ice creature, then take the compass from the chest. Leave the room without forgetting to collect the gold skulltula and go through the corridor.

This room contains two gold skulltulas. Cross the room to melt the red ice blocking the corridor you need to take. In the large square room, take the left door (South) and clear the passage with a blue flame. At the end of the corridor is a rather discreet door. Take it.

You are now in the boss room. The game must have run out of budget as this is a basic Stalfos that you will defeat in 2 sword strikes. Take the iron boots from the chest that appears. Sheik arrives once again and explains that only the princess was not frozen by the monster of the Water Temple. The ice princess has thus gone to this temple and you must help her. Sheik teaches you the Serenade of Water then disappears. Go get another blue flame then exit the cavern.

In Zora's Fountain, put on your Iron Boots and jump into the water to find a Piece of Heart at the very bottom (2). Take off your boots and then go thaw the King using your Blue Fire and speak to him (3) to obtain the Zora Tunic. Play the Serenade of Water to teleport to the island in Lake Hylia and jump into the water with your boots at the location of the temple entrance.

You must now continue the adventure by using your hookshot to activate the button just above the door. Then pass through the door to find yourself in the Water Temple, the worst of all. You can also retrieve my save file (1Ko) made with bizhawk (emuhawk), which should be copied into the "SaveRam" folder before launching the game.
