Castlevania 2 Walkthrough: Rover Mansion - Dracula's Heart

This mansion is a bit easier than the previous one. Maybe someone told them that fake floors were a stupid idea... So, they put in a fake wall instead. Clever, but since you have a walkthrough, you're going to go straight through and avoid visiting half of the Dungeon. Go to the right without taking the stairs and jump through the fake wall.

Keep going straight without taking any stairs and go buy the oak stake from the man in the long coat.

Retrace your steps and take the first staircase going up, then the next two. Then go to the right to take a fourth one.

Go a little to the right and continue your ascent by jumping from platform to platform. Stand right at the edge to jump, otherwise you'll hit your head and fall all the way back down. Continue to the right, take the stairs going down, go left and let yourself fall. Further on the right, use your stake to break the orb protecting Dracula's remains and retrieve his heart.

You now have the heart, one of the key pieces. Exit the castle to continue the adventure.
