Simon Belmont arrives at Bodley Mansion, arguably the easiest of the 5 dungeons. First, go right and climb the 4 stairs. Careful, when you move from the 3rd to the 4th, there is a false floor.

Then go to the right without going down, you can jump through the wall blocking your way.

Go down two or three levels, and you can break the right wall using holy water.

Go all the way to the right and go down 2 more levels using the stairs (or not). Walk toward the left wall and jump into it once more to pass through the wall. In this huge empty room, you'll find the usual oak stake seller.

To his left, the floor is fake. Drop down. Take the stairs on your left. At the very bottom, head to the right. Dracula's Nail is found as usual locked in a sphere to be destroyed with the oak stake.

For the return trip, go all the way to the left and jump to take the stairs. Then climb the small stairs and jump twice to the left to climb another set of stairs. Cross the large platform to the left and drop down. Once again, you can jump through the left wall and continue in that direction to exit the mansion. Note that the return path can be taken on the way in by breaking platforms with holy water. If you already have the oak stake, it can save you some time.

With the nail in hand, Simon continues the adventure.
