You should arrive at this palace with a key.

Go up and up again while avoiding the Wizzrobes (or killing them if you want bombs). Go left while again avoiding the enemies (especially the Like Likes) and further left using your key. Continue left while avoiding the monsters (who only drop 5 rubies). Go push the left stone to the middle while avoiding the spikes and go get the ladder. To pass, move forward to attract the spikes and then hide. Take advantage of the spikes' return movement to reposition yourself (they are slow and do not attack until they have returned to their original position).

Come back 2 rooms to the right and go down to get the key using the ladder (watch out for enemies), then go back up and continue right (make sure you can still attack). Make a hole in the top wall and take the newly created passage.

Go left and kill all the Like Likes to get the map. Come back right, make a hole at the top and take it. Go up again while avoiding and/or killing the bats.

---If you want the compass, walk through the wall on the left, go down and make a hole on the right, then retrace your steps---

Push the leftmost stone in the middle row and take the secret passage. Upon exit, kill the bats for some peace and make a hole at the bottom. Collect the key, go back up and open the right door.

Kill the 2-headed Gleeok and go right. Push the stone right in front of you and take the underground passage (if you get hit, you will need to go to D3 to find blue bubbles; you can also finish the level without a sword and go to C7). Upon arriving, quickly go up without killing Manhandla to face the boss.

The boss is Gohma, whom you must kill by shooting arrows into its eye when it opens. Not particularly difficult. Remember that your shield only blocks shots from statues (not Gohma's shots).
