Zelda II - The Adventure of Link (Zelda 2) Walkthrough on Nes: From the beginning to the Palace of Parapa

The adventure begins at the foot of the bed where Zelda, cursed by Ganon, sleeps in a deep slumber. Leave the palace and follow the path then go take the bag in the small patch of forest.

Leave the forest and head down into the village of Rauru. Advance until you reach the first gray house on the second screen and talk to the girl in purple who comes out of it. Enter the house at the same time as her and go through her house to the cellar where an old sage will teach you the shield magic.

Exit the village and enter the cave to the East. Cross it while being careful of the Lowder after the second block on the ground. If you have full health, you can kill it from behind the block by crouching and shooting twice. Upon exiting the cave, go East and head down. In the middle of the path, you will have to cross a kind of river by jumping from block to block. Before starting, be careful that no bubble can touch you during your jump.

Continue following the path and enter the clearing where you will find a heart container. Leave the clearing and head straight North to arrive at the Palace of Parapa (save file).
