Leaving the palace, head towards the right of the swamp and enter the cave above the place where you find the red potion. Go fetch the bag of 200 experience points at the end of the cave and come back out. Head south and follow the path to the West. In the forest (2), you will find Bagu's house (3). Talk to Bagu who will give you a note for the ferryman in the water town of Saria.

Exit the forest and go take the bridge to the South (1). Bago-bagos jump in front of you on this bridge (2). Try to crouch when they pass at your height; it should allow you to counter many of their shots. Cross the bridge and go visit the small forest square to the East (3). Take the bag of 100 experience points and go left to enter the town of Saria.

Be careful in this town, some villagers transform into bats when you attack them. Pass the first part of the town and enter the first house of the second part (1). Go to the table, crouch down and strike, you will find the mirror hidden under the table (2). Return to the right in the first part of Saria and talk to the lady in violet who is leaving her house (3). Follow her to her place, go all the way to the right and talk to the old wise man who will teach you the "Life" spell.

Exit the house and go to the end of the town on the left. Enter the house in front of the water (1) and talk to the guard (2) who will lower the bridge for you if you have talked correctly to Bagu. Cross the bridge, exit the town and enter the cave (3), you will exit at the entrance to the labyrinth.
