Zelda II - The Adventure of Link (Zelda 2) Walkthrough on Nes: From the labyrinth to the cemetery palace

Cross the bridge on your right while killing the enemies and avoiding the bubbles. Upon leaving the bridge, go pick up the life in the South then go back up while skirting the cemetery on the left.

Break the big stone on the left to test your hammer and follow the path upwards to enter the cave blocked by a stone in the South-East of the first village. Cross this cave to retrieve the heart container and come out of the cave.

Go back down following the path and continue to follow it towards the West until the forest of Bagu. Continue a little further to the left and go visit the swamp cave by breaking the stone that hid the entrance. Go to the end of the cave to obtain the life water and come out then resume the road.

Go completely to the East following the road to find the port city of Mido. At the church level, use your Jump magic to reach the high door (take a little momentum to be able to go up). Inside (at the end on the right), a soldier will teach you the low attack which allows you to hit enemies located where you land when pressing down. Come out and continue your road to the left (don't forget to get healed and to recover your magic). In the third and last part of the city, you will see an old lady in violet come out of her house just after you have passed. Talk to her to give her the life water (Editor's note: Let's avoid problems with censorship, it is by no means alcohol and this water is called holy water within the editorial staff) and follow her into her house. Deep in her cellar, an old gentleman will teach you the fairy magic which will allow you to transform into a fairy.

Come out of the village and go a little to the left then cross the cemetery to reach the tomb of the kings (the one that is isolated). If, in principle, this tomb is useless (Editor's note: regardless of any religion), it remains a good landmark to find the secret cave leading to the 3rd palace. Indeed, it is enough to go due south from this tomb to fall into this cave. Once inside, you will have to transform into a fairy thanks to the fairy magic to exit on the right. Then go around the rocks to enter the 3rd palace: the island's palace (save file).
