After defeating Dark Link, the old man comes down and gives Link the Triforce of Courage.

Link then goes to the North Castle and uses the power of the 3 Triforces together to wake Zelda from her eternal sleep.

She is grateful to him and the curtain falls on our 2 lovers. Ganon will not reappear.

The credits

For the bravest among you, the adventure begins again. Unlike Zelda 1 - the Legend of Zelda, the map remains the same and the second playthrough holds little interest.
