The True Ending

It was said in a magazine at the time that there was a "true" ending to the game. To see it, you must do the following:

• Choose Gohan in Hard mode
• Beat Goku in training
• Win the 1st fight against Cell
• Lose the 2nd fight against Cell
• Do not follow Piccolo (choose "no")
• Beat the fake Piccolo
• Beat Aki and finish her off
• Beat Kujila
• Beat Tara
• Beat Son Goku

Another True Ending

For the story mode and the true ending, here is how to see as much as possible without missing a match. This works in Hard and Super difficulty modes:

• If you lose the 1st fight against Cell, you can meet Mini-Cell!
• Win the 2nd fight against Cell.
• Lose the 3rd fight against Cell to admire the Mega Kamehameha.
• Sparing Aki also reveals the true ending and allows for an extra fight against her later on.
• By losing against Kujila, Piccolo gets crushed by Kujila and a 2nd fight against Kujila becomes possible.
