Zelda 3 A Link to the Past Walkthrough on Super NES: Turtle Rock, 7th Crystal (GBA, SNES, Super Nintendo)

Move forward and use the Cane of Somaria on the "?" to make a platform appear that will lead to the next room (1). Create a platform and go through the door immediately to the left to find the compass in a chest (2). To exit this room, strike while facing the bottom of the screen and walk up with your back to the door. Then go up along the right wall. Go around, lighting all the torches (near the end of the path) with your Fire Rod (3) and quickly take the door.

Cross the room while avoiding the spikes to find the map and a key (1). Return to the large room and take the locked door at the top left. Kill the living cactus to obtain a key (2) and pass through the next door. Hit the crystal switch and push one of the lone stones toward the center to make a chest appear. Hit the switch again, open the chest, and take the door. Take the pipe at the bottom right, the door, then the right pipe, and again the door. Go down, hit the switch once, then a second time after passing the blocks. Kill all the monsters, pick up the key, and take the door while being careful of the eye (don't stay too long).

Take the pipe to obtain the Big Key (1). Take the bottom pipe, go through the door, then the other pipe. Take the bottom right pipe again, go through the door and take the left pipe. Take the door, kill all the monsters and go down then left. Be careful of the eyes and make a hole in the bottom wall (2). Go out, stand next to the right door and use your Magic Mirror. Enter the cave, kill all the enemies, push down the heads, and go through the door to find the final 1/4 Heart Piece.

Go back out to take the teleporter and enter the door. Create a block and open the big chest to obtain the Mirror Shield (1). Go up twice, take the pipe then the door. Make a hole at the top and go through the door (if you go right and pull a statue's tongue, you'll find plenty of rupees). Hit the switch to take the key from the chest, then hit the switch again (2) to exit through the top. Create a block and go right, down, straight, then down at the first 4 intersections to press the button under the skull. On the way back, take the first 2 right turns then down. Take the next 2 left turns (keep your finger pressed left even if there are other intersections).

Go down twice and open the chest at the very bottom left. Go back up (1) to open the door with your key and manage to reach the top of the room by hitting the switches with your boomerang (2). Take the stairs, create a block, and open the Boss door (3).

The boss is divided into 2 phases:

• In the first, you must kill the 2 dragon arms. The red one is blocked with the Ice Rod and the blue one with the Fire Rod. Then simply hit them with your sword. They only stay blocked for a few seconds, so kill them one at a time.
• In the second, the head transforms into a snake. You must then hit the part of its body that flashes in the middle.

You can now continue the adventure by searching for the other crystals whose locations you now know. Here is a save file for the ZSNES emulator.
