Go back up to the surface (put on your Kokiri Boots) and go through the small corridor to reach the central room (with a large tower in the center). There, sink (put on your Iron Boots) down to the 1st floor and take the entrance on the right (1) framed by 2 torches. At the end of the corridor, you will meet Princess Ruto, who explains that all the Zoras are frozen except her because Sheik saved her. She asks you to follow her so she can show you how to change the water level. Go back to the surface (2) to find yourself in a small room with the Triforce mark. Change the water level by playing "Zelda's Lullaby" (3) in front of this symbol. Then, take the door and kill the Spikes (wait for them to turn to stone and attack with the sword) to obtain the Map of the palace.

Jump into the hole and use your bow to quickly light the 2 extinguished torches by passing your arrow through the flame of the lit torch (1). Kill the Shellblades (target them with the bow or Hookshot and shoot when they open their shells). Take the Small Key from the chest and return to the central room. Find the entrance blocked by a block (2) and push this block until it falls. Use your Iron Boots to cross the underwater corridor and come up on the other side. Hit the crystal switch and jump onto the water jet in the center of the room (3) to go to the other side, then go through the door.

Dive and position yourself on the right side of the room, then put your Kokiri Boots back on to try and take the underwater path. To do this, take the current into account and aim to the right of the entrance (1). Next, activate the switch in the stone dragon's mouth (Iron Boots and Hookshot) and walk until you are behind the gate, then go back up. Take the Small Key from the chest and activate the switch to be able to cross the gate again. Return to the central room using your Hookshot in the water jet room and in the underwater corridor.

Turn right and take the passage in front of which there are 2 pots. Use your Hookshot to go into a room where there is a large chest protected by a water jet. Stand directly in front of this chest and use your bow to activate the switch (1) and find the Compass. Return to the central room and go to the room where you met Ruto (on the 1st floor, below where you came from). Go back to the surface and blow up the wall with a bomb (2). Open the chest to find a Small Key and return to the central room. Go up to take the west entrance on the surface (2nd floor). Stand on the mini water jet and use your bow to activate the switch (3) and go up (be careful of the spiders). Take the door and play "Zelda's Lullaby" in front of the Triforce symbol.

Swim east, take the corridor and dive to pull the brown block as far as possible (1). Then return to the central room and go open the locked door on the surface to the west. Kill the 2 Keese on the wall and slide onto the first platform and then the second (2). Then use your Hookshot several times in a row on the platforms that slide down (3) to reach the very top of the room, then open the door.

This room is quite simple to cross but the explanation is a bit long. In fact, the crystal in the center lowers or raises the statues when you hit it. Activate it a first time and hook onto the first statue. Lower the statues and hook onto the target on the wall. Move to the other side of the dragon's head (1) and reactivate the switch to hook onto the third dragon's head. Get on its head (by reactivating the switch again) and activate the switch one last time. Kill the 2 blue Tektites and then hook onto the Like Like (2) with the Hookshot, kill it and go through the door. You are now in a room without walls where you wade in the water. Go around the room (go to the closed gate) and go under the tree to meet your shadow. This one anticipates almost all your movements. To defeat it, you will have to use an attack from bottom to top (3) (target it and keep the forward direction while striking). After about 8 hits with the Biggoron Sword, the shadow disappears and the room returns to normal.

Go through the door that opened and take the Longshot from the large chest. Then play the "Song of Time" (1) and jump into the passage that appeared in the floor. Jump into the river (there is a Gold Skulltula on one of its walls) and avoid the whirlpools until the end of the river where you will have to climb onto a small platform opposite an eye (2) just before the gate (don't hesitate to mash B to escape the whirlpools). Shoot the eye and quickly pass the gate that opened, then open the chest to obtain a Small Key. Then follow the corridors to find yourself in the main room. Go down with the boots and go to where you saw Ruto (at the very bottom, the door framed by torches). Go through the corridor and go back up (3) to play "Zelda's Lullaby" and change the water level.

Then go into the tower and climb onto the first platform then take the door using the Hookshot. Go south and shoot the opposite eye then quickly take your Hookshot and grab the opposite target before the gate closes again (1). Follow the corridor and push the block (if you followed the beginning, you can do it, otherwise you'll have to take it out of the wall and go around again). Go right to get a Small Key (2) then exit by going in front of the small room. Use the Longshot to find yourself in the central room. Jump to the very bottom (1st floor) and take the passage to the north. Use the Iron Boots and then the Longshot (3) to pass the spikes and take the door.

To safely cross this water-filled room, first kill the blue Tektites with your bow and then jump into the water with your Iron Boots. Wait in front of where the rocks fall on the right and advance just after one has passed. Then take off your Iron Boots and swim with B to the edge (1) then take the door. Jump onto the southeast platform and kill the Mantas with your Hookshot. Blow up the cracked wall and cross the water to blow up the other wall (2). Enter the hole you just made and push the block until the end. Then go around to pull this block up to the southeast platform (3). Go around one last time to push the block onto the switch in the water. The water level will then rise. Take advantage of this to reach the door that was previously inaccessible.

Before activating the switch in the next room, hit the spiders with your Hookshot so they jump into the hole (if that doesn't work, kill them with your bow). Then activate the switch and jump from water jet to water jet to reach the platform opposite (1) (the right jet is useless). Take the door and turn right after a rock has passed (2). Put on your Iron Boots to take a small underwater passage that you must cross (be careful of the shell). Take off your boots and open the door to find the Boss Key. Leave the room, cross underwater again and follow the rocks to find yourself in a basin. Take the door on the right to go to the main room and enter the tower. Climb onto the first platform and change the water level. Exit the tower on the opposite side and take the door to the west. Go up using the water jet and raise the water level again. Go to the north of the room and hook onto the dragon's head with your Hookshot. Take the door and go up without stopping or being hit (press against a wall and dash at the right moment). Open the boss door.

Here you are in the boss room, jump onto the platforms in the center to see it appear. The boss is named Morpha, it's a giant aquatic amoeba. This creature is capable of manipulating water. Here is a method to defeat it.
Go back to the edge of the room and try to get Morpha out of the water with the Hookshot. If you don't succeed, step back when the water tentacle approaches and use your Hookshot when Morpha reaches the end of the tentacle. Normally, Morpha should be at your feet. Take the opportunity to hit it (as usual try to place the jump attack). Repeat the operation as many times as necessary.

Morpha is defeated and evaporates instantly. After taking the heart, you teleport once more to the Chamber of Sages. Ruto turns out to be the Sage of Water and thanks you for saving the Zoras, then gives you the Water Medallion. She tells you she feels Zelda is alive, and I think you can trust her ;).
