Donkey Kong on NES: Second level, the elevators Play music

Level 2, or "75m" in the original version since the real level 2 (50m) missing from this NES version, was for me the most difficult level of the original game. While the ladders and elevator at the beginning pose no problem as long as you do not take unnecessary risks with the flame, this is not the case for the final "spring". Saving Pauline is indeed a matter of timing in this level because you will have to pass under the spring and quickly climb the ladder before the next spring arrives.

Game A

Not much more to say about the part in Game A. It is simply the easiest because basically, there is only one spring on the screen at a time.

Game B

In Game B, the new spring arrives roughly in the middle of the vertical drop of the previous spring. Other than that, not much change. You have to watch out for the flame, be careful when crossing the spring's drop path, but the end is really the tightest part.

Game B - 2nd pass

The 2nd pass in Game B is inevitably the most difficult, but the difference is smaller than in level 1. The springs are really very close to one another, and barely has one spring started its vertical drop before another one arrives.
