Donkey Kong Jr. (Junior) on Nes (mini): Guide / Walkthrough

Donkey Kong Jr. (Junior), released in Arcades one year after its predecessor (meaning in '82), came out a year later on Famicom but didn't arrive here until June '87 (after Super Mario Bros). Very similar to Donkey Kong in its structure (Game A, Game B, 4 levels), it stands out from its elder on the Nes version with a more successful port that doesn't remove any of the 4 original levels. Although the game is pleasant, it shows its age, and its late release date (especially in Europe) makes it a "small game" because it doesn't hold a candle to the 32 levels of Super Mario Bros. A game much less famous than Donkey Kong but one that retains a certain charm, for me even more than its venerable parent. Like Donkey Kong, the game can be completed in 5 minutes, so of course, I recommend it to you too. But unlike DK, the Nes version is completely acceptable to test it out, and even if it lacks a few animations, the fact that all levels are present means you can check out this version (even if it's not the best one).
