Donkey Kong Jr (Junior) on Nes: The 1st level, the vines

Level 1 is a stage designed to help you understand the gameplay of Dk Jr. You will learn how to grab vines and notice that little Donkey Kong slides down faster on a single vine, whereas he climbs up faster while holding onto two. You will need to head all the way to the right of the level and climb up to reach your dad, who has been imprisoned by Mario, all while avoiding the crocodiles (Snapjaws).

Game A

The level in Game A is relatively straightforward. The red crocs are quite slow. There are never more than 2 blue crocs, and you should easily avoid them.

Game B

In Game B, the pace quickens. There are 3 red crocs and you can also encounter 3 blue crocs.

Game B - 2nd loop

To tell the truth, I'm not sure if the 2nd loop in Game B is any harder, even though the rate at which blue crocs spawn seems a tad higher...
