Continuing after a Game Over

There are 3 different codes to type depending on the level where you get a Game Over. No continue for level 1 (is it really that important?). Warning: at levels 7, 8, and 9, the code must be typed on controller 2. In any case, you must wait for the Game Over to appear and type the code correctly.

• Level 2 and 3 (Controller 1):

• Level 7 to 9 (Controller 2):

Making Mode B easier or starting with more lives

In Mode B, players can hit each other. This could make the game harder if the developers hadn't designed it so that if one player kills the other (i.e., delivers the final blow), he gains his brother's life. A quiet moment after hard fighting? Player 2 kills Player 1 then Player 1 kills Player 2: both players restart with their full health bar. Knowing this trick, even if you are alone, you can start the game in Game B and kill the other player to start the game with maximum lives.

The Helicopter Glitch

This trick was very famous back in the day. The helicopter door can close immediately after opening. To do this, press Start as soon as it opens. Leave the game on pause for a few seconds (about 4 I think, but don't take risks and wait ten seconds if you're relaxing in front of the TV ;) ). Unpause. Magic, the door closes back.
