Zelda 3 A Link to the Past Walkthrough on Super NES: After the first pendant's palace (GBA, SNES, Super Nintendo)

Go back to see the Elder and talk to him. He gives you the Pegasus Boots (1). Go to the right of Lake Hylia, passing south of Link's house. On the way, blow up the wall in image 2 to win rupees (300), arrows, and bombs. Blow up a bomb (3) to the left of the entrance to the fairy cave: you get the Ice Rod.

Go south of Kakariko Village to the library. Run with the Pegasus Boots against the left shelf: you get the Book of Mudora (1). Go south of Link's house and enter the small stone house. Go up, pull the lever that opens the dam, and go back out to take the 1/4 heart (2). Go to the desert on the left. In the desert, go up to a small cave in which you find 1/4 heart by blowing up a wall (3) below the old man.

Exit the cave and go left. Use the book (1) to read the inscriptions on the slab and go up to get the pendant in the Desert Palace (2).
