Zelda 3 A Link to the Past Walkthrough on Super NES: Arrival in the Dark World (GBA, SNES, Super Nintendo)

First of all, know that you can return to the Light World at any time using the Magic Mirror. Go look for the 1/4 heart piece just to the right of the start (1). I advise you to return to the Light World and look for the 1/4 heart piece east of the Lost Woods. You must run into the tree that the 2 lumberjacks were sawing (it has a strange color) (2). Return to the Dark World either by using your teleporter or, if you have saved, by going to the mountain below the Tower of Hera (in this case, you will need to save and quit to be able to leave the mountain).

Descend from the pyramid and go right. Head towards the crystal indicated on the map. Arriving in the part corresponding to the ruins of the Light World, head right until the arrow in image 1. Go under the branches and go left. Arriving as in image 2, do not enter the mini forest but go around it to the left to try to enter from the left or from the top. Before crossing the forest, make sure you have at least 110 rupees. In image 3, exit to the right.

When you exit the forest, a monkey follows you and asks for 10 rupees. Give them to him. Go up, go right and approach the palace door. The monkey offers to open the door for 100 rupees. Accept and enter. This is the palace of the 1st crystal: the Palace of Darkness.
