Zelda Ocarina Of Time on N64 - Return to Zora's Domain

With the Fire Temple completed, you must now head towards Zora's Domain. Cross the plain, then head up the river and play Zelda's Lullaby in front of the waterfall (1) to enter the domain. Everything in the domain is frozen. The shop entrance is barred by thick pink ice. The King himself is trapped in a huge block of pink ice. Go behind him to reach Zora's Fountain. Jump across the ice platforms to reach the cave slightly to the left when arriving from where Jabu-Jabu used to be.

The Ice Cavern Play music

The Ice Cavern

Here you are in the Ice Cavern. It begins with a small corridor. In this corridor and all those that follow, watch out for the stalactites (stalagtites) that can fall from the ceiling (they shake beforehand). Don't stay underneath them. Cross the corridor and break the stalagmites (stalagmites) with your sword to reach a large room with ice statues (Mr. Freezzard). These statues blow icy air that will freeze you if it touches you (1). Kill all these statues to open the gate (be careful, you must kill them completely (2) otherwise they regenerate).

Take the corridor you just cleared to arrive again in a large room, this time with a frozen propeller spinning in the middle of the room. To open the door of this room, you will need to collect all the gray rupees. For the 3 located on the path of the propeller, I advise you to target this propeller and turn with it (3) (if it gets too close, move closer to the center to turn). The 4th rupee is hidden behind the 3 stalagmites (2) under the skulltula. The last one is in front of the gate, climb up and jump (3) to catch it.

Pass through the gate you just opened and cross the corridors to find yourself in a room with a blue flame and ice keese (saigneurs givrés). Climb onto the blocks and jump to reach the blue flame and fill a bottle with it (1). Go to the very top of the room, killing the ice statue (2) blocking your way, and use your blue flame to thaw the chest (3) and find the map of the cavern. Take another blue flame and return to the propeller room.

In the propeller room, thaw the large pink ice wall (1) just to the left of where you arrived and take the corridor. Break the stalagmites while avoiding the stalactites and kill the 4 bats (2). Thaw the chest to find the compass, take fire again and thaw the other pink block (3) to find a piece of heart. Take another blue flame, go thaw the other large ice wall in the propeller room and return to get fire before taking the corridor you just cleared.

Before trying to take the silver rupees, kill all the ice keese. Then, you will have to push the large blue block in the following directions (relative to the map). Push it down (1), to the left, up, to the right and up again. Each time there is one, take the rupee on the pillar (2). For the last one, you must be able to reach the alcove from the block (otherwise, push it into the hole (it will reappear in its initial position) and push it to the left). The gate opens. Before continuing, go get fire (either in the compass room or here by pushing the block). Then push the block into the hole and repeat the exact same path as for taking the rupees except for the last one where you must push downwards (3).

Climb onto the block and follow the corridor. Destroy the stalagmites and the Mr. Freezards then thaw the pink ice to take the door. There, a epic battle against a White Wolfos (Lobo blanc) (1) awaits you ( a jump strike with the Biggoron Sword is enough). Take the Iron Boots in the chest that appears. Sheik arrives once more and explains that only the princess was not frozen by the monster of the Water Temple. The ice princess has therefore gone to that temple and you must help her. Sheik teaches you the Serenade of Water then disappears. Go get another blue flame then leave the cavern.

In Zora's Fountain, put on your Iron Boots and jump into the water to find a Piece of Heart at the very bottom (2). Take off your boots and then go thaw the King using your Blue Fire and speak to him (3) to obtain the Zora Tunic. Play the Serenade of Water to teleport to the island in Lake Hylia and jump into the water with your boots at the location of the temple entrance.

You must now continue the adventure by using your hookshot to activate the button just above the door. Then pass through the door to find yourself in the Water Temple, the worst of all. You can also retrieve my save file (1Ko) made with project64, which should be copied into the "Save" folder before launching the game.
