You leave Brahm's house in possession of Dracula's eye. By heading left, you can go pick up the diamond. It's not essential, but it's a fairly powerful and original object. If you go there, remember that to jump from stone to stone, the most important thing is not the height but that the stone is moving up when you jump; this will propel you much higher. One stone is very close to the next, so you can jump when it's going down. Overall, the timing is set so that you don't have to stop if you launch yourself at the right moment. Then retrace your steps and take the ferryman's raft. Walk a few steps to the right to lose sight of the lake, then return to the left and speak to the ferryman again, but this time without the heart.
Here are 3 passwords:

Then walk west to quickly arrive at the town of Alba. Go up the first stairs and jump left to talk to the man in gray who will give you a red crystal in exchange for the blue crystal. Exit the village to the left. The slimes can be a bit annoying. Personally, I calm them down with the sacred flame. It creates a nice barrier in front of them.

Freddie and the skeletons will surely cause you less trouble, and you'll reach the village of Ondol by continuing straight. Note that if you decide to go down the stairs, you'll find the silk bag which allows you to carry more garlic/laurels (no need for this junk). If you want it, you'll need to place a clove of garlic at the end of the cemetery.

Bag or no bag, I advise you to buy the morning star once in the town of Ondol, it's a very powerful whip that can be upgraded later.

Then exit the town to the left and walk until Deborah Cliff. You will then need to equip the newly acquired red crystal and kneel at the foot of the cliff. A tornado then arrives and takes you right in front of Bodley Mansion.

Enter Bodley Mansion for the rest of the walkthrough.
----------------------
Quick digression. An obvious tribute to the tornado that takes you to Bodley is paid in "Dust: An Elysian Tail". Indeed, in this one, in the Blackmoor mountains, far to the West, you find yourself at the bottom of a cliff on which an hourglass is drawn (we are nicer to players today). If Dust is equipped with the red Crystal and kneels for a few moments, a tornado will come pick him up and take him to the other side (where he can rescue Braid, but that's another story). For information, Dust is an excellent action-platform (beat-them up) RPG. Very beautiful and colorful, I recommend it to you (I finished it 100%). Braid, on the other hand, is puzzle-platforming. Braid plays with time. With rewinds and other accelerations, he can do all sorts of improbable things. Full of excellent puzzles and there too, a very nice artistic production. I didn't get hooked on the mini-story but you have to test the game, it's short but super clever.
