Zelda II - The Adventure of Link (Zelda 2) Walkthrough on Nes: From the Palace of the 3 Eyes to the Great Palace

It's done, the last crystal is in place and the 6 palaces are sealed. It's now time to find the Great Palace to completely eradicate the evil. Start by going left to take the bridge leading to the village. Cross it and enter Kasuto. Enter the first house and go see the old man in the cellar who will teach you the magic "Thunder".

Come out of the village and go up a little to take the bridge to the West (1). Cross the river, being careful of the Bago-bagos (2) who will not hesitate to push you into the water. Cross the graveyard, trying to avoid the monsters in the graveyard but try to meet them between the graveyard and the volcano (3). This will make you avoid an action phase with Lizardmen who bombard. For this, I advise you to wait on the last grave and go down just before an enemy touches you (3).

From there, just follow the path and fight the bad guys (go eventually into the little hollow on the right to find a red potion) to arrive at the Great Palace. But as at Nintendo Forever, we don't like image blocks alone, we are going to comment a little. Go to the left and if you meet an enemy (1), don't hesitate to kill the eyes before crossing the lava (2) because they like to intercept you in flight. Between the mountains (3), you will find an action phase that you can avoid by meeting a monster at the right place.

The lava action phases are all a bit the same. A small jump, an orange Lizardman, some platforms with flying creatures, another Lizardman and a big jump.

For the big jump, it passes without "jump" (1) but I advise you all the same to use it. In the hollow on the right (2) is a 500 bag that you might not need, so you can continue north to a cave (3), enter it.

Cross the first part of the cave by killing or not the Moas and the Patras that are there (1). In the second part, use "reflect" to easily kill the Skettlar (2) without jumping on him like me (he touched me the rascal). Reflect will be used again for the blue Lizardman that you will have therefore without problem.

Follow the path and cross the action phase then the lizard cave then enter the Great Palace (save (or Nester emulator save at the beginning of the palace)).
