On November 12, 2016, the Nes mini was released in France. Its full official name is Nintendo Classic Mini: Nintendo Entertainment System. This console offers 30 games (see list below) and connects via HDMI to your television and via USB for power, which seems quite surprising if it's the only option. The controller will be an exact copy of the original. We can only applaud Nintendo's initiative even if some excellent games and certain standards are missing. We can particularly regret that games like Battle Of Olympus, Castlevania 3: Dracula's curse (the most surprising omission), Dragon Quest / Dragon Warrior, Duck Tales, Faxanadu, Kung Fu, Little Nemo Dream Master, ShadowGate, World Cup,... The list is obviously not exhaustive but I think Nintendo could have included 50 games without loss of quality. However, between standards (Mario, Donkey Kong,...) and high-quality games (Castlevania, Mario, Zelda,...), we can say that Nintendo has made a more than decent list even if Tecmo Bowl will surely not be a game for Europeans. StarTropics, the other game little known in Europe, could on the contrary find its audience. Nes mini's top titlesZelda 1: "The Legend of Zelda"A top-down adventure game. A vast world, 2 quests containing 9 palaces, magnificent. Zelda 2: "The Adventure of Link"An adventure RPG. A top-view exploration part and side-view action phases. A large and varied Hyrule: villages, deserts, marshes, mountains,... Everything is there. Castlevania 1The first Castlevania isn't the best but it's already excellent. Platforming and whip action, successful atmosphere, top-notch music. Castlevania 2Unlike the first Castlevania, this sequel is an adventure game. Villages, shops, day/night cycle, a vast world... A great atmosphere, a game to try. Super Mario Bros. 1No introduction needed for Super Mario Bros. The founder of modern platforming, 32 levels spread over 8 worlds. A perfect game released over 30 years ago. Double Dragon 2A great beat 'em up. A rather easy and very pleasant game. To be played without moderation. Donkey KongOne of the precursors of the platform game. At least the first very famous one. This Nes version is not the best but the game remains to be tested. Donkey Kong Jr.The very nice sequel to Donkey Kong released in arcades in 82. This adaptation is much more successful than its predecessor. Complete list of Nes mini games
