Pieces of Heart in Zelda 3 ALttP on SNES and GBA (Zelda III - A Link to the Past)

This page contains the locations of all 24 Pieces of Heart in Zelda 3 on Super Nintendo. You can also check this page if you are playing on Game Boy Advance (GBA), but I don't know if there are more than on SNES.

At the top left of the village, jump off the small cliff into the hole (where there are 3 bombs in a chest). In this room, you can blow a hole in the top wall (Light World).

In the basement of the blind man's house (the gray house at the top of the village), blow a hole at the top of the screen (Light World).

By winning the race south of Kakariko Village (bomb the wall inside the twins' house) (Light World).

In the Lost Woods, clear the bushes above the thieves' hideout and drop into the hole (Light World).

South of Link's house, pull the lever that opens the floodgate inside the small stone tunnel (Light World).

In the desert, inside a cave where an old man talks to you about the book, blow a hole at the bottom (Light World).

Between the 2 parts of the 2nd Palace, as you exit outside, on a ledge to the left (Light World).

In Zora's Lake, below the flipper vendor (Light World).

To the left of the Sanctuary by destroying a pile of rocks. Take the stairs down to find a Piece of Heart (Light World).

Inside a cave in the mountain by jumping down to a ledge (Light World).

Below the Tower of Hera, using the teleporter and then the Magic Mirror (Light World).

Upon arriving in the Dark World, to the right of the pyramid (Dark World).

East of the Lost Woods, once the lumberjacks finish their work. Dash into the tree they were cutting using the Pegasus Boots (Light World).

To the left of the 5th Crystal Palace, teleport by standing inside the stone circle, you will land on an island where it is located (Dark World).

South of the flute boy's clearing, there is a diamond shape of flowers in the Dark World. Use the Magic Mirror inside it and enter the cave (Light World).

Far west on the map, below the village, you can win it in the digging game (with a bit of luck) (Dark World).

Above the cemetery in the Dark World there is a small ledge. Climb onto it and use the mirror. Enter the cave and place a bomb at the far end (Light World).

In Thieves' Town, play the chest game in the house at the top left. You must find the chest containing the Piece of Heart (Dark World).

Hammer down all the pegs to the right of Kakariko Village and take the secret passage to find this Piece of Heart (Dark World).

Enter the mountain east of the Lost Woods and use your Hookshot and Magic Cape to traverse the cave (Dark World).

Use the Magic Mirror northeast of the swamp and lift the rock (Light World).

Enter the cave shaped like a monster's mouth to the left of the Swamp Palace (Dark World).

Use the Magic Mirror on the small island on Death Mountain (Light World).

Use your Magic Mirror on the ledge connecting 2 doors of the 7th Crystal Palace to find this Piece of Heart (Light World).
