Overview

1. To avoid waking the Piranha Plants, approach them slowly. You can kill them by punching them when you're close.
2. There is a 1-Up at the top of the pole.
3. There is a teleporter near the green block that takes you near the pole.

The 8 Red Coins

1. At the start, where the stones come out of the wall.
2. Above the second big blue rock (Thwomp) that moves up and down.
3. Behind the Piranha Plant after the Thwomp.

4. On the ledge.
5. Under the rotating wooden platform.
6. On the rotating wooden platform.

7. At the top of the level, push the wooden plank by performing jump kicks.
8. On a floating island.

The star appears at the very bottom.

Bonus Star: 100+ Coins

A few little tips for getting the bonus star: blue coins appear below the cannon when you smash the switch. Killing the Piranha Plants gives you a blue coin. Jumping on the mini Whomps gives you a coin each time (up to 5). Do a ground pound on them and you'll get another 5 coins. There are 141 coins in the level, so the star is very easy to get.
