Overview

1. There is a teleporter beneath the eye to the left of the start that leads to a platform on the left (which you can also reach with a long jump from the start). On that platform there is a red block containing a Wing Cap that lets you fly.
2. After the fourth star, a yellow block appears in front of the start containing a shell that lets you slide over the lava.

The 8 Red Coins

All the red coins are on Bowser's puzzle to the left of the start. Watch out for the moving puzzle pieces so you don't fall into the lava. The star appears on a stone platform in a corner of the puzzle.

Bonus Star: 100+ Coins

For the bonus star, choose the fifth or sixth star so that the star is in the volcano (even though there are more than 107 coins outside (and 24 inside)). 5 yellow coins come out of Bowser's mouth when the puzzle re-forms. There is a blue coin (5 yellow coins) that appears when you kill the eyes by circling quickly around them. There are 131 coins in the level, no particular problems.
