Mission : Area 51: Infiltration

Briefing

A craft carrying Institute advisers has been shot down over Nevada. The debris and the bodies of the advisers have been taken to Area 51. One of our contacts infiltrated inside the base was able to inform us of the existence of a survivor. The objective of the mission is to rescue that survivor.

Carrington

This is a disaster, Joanna. We need to get our ally out before it's too late. There was also special equipment on the craft that must not fall into Trent Easton's hands. Our contact in Area 51, disguised as a guard, will help you.

Intro de la mission

Dans le secteur 51, des chirurgiens s'appretent à disséquer un drole de personnage. Heureusement un agent infiltré a pu faire parvenir des images d'un point d'entrée pour Joanna. Celui-ci se trouve sur un héliport abandonné en bordure de base. Néanmoins entre les tours de garde, le grand mur et la sécurité globale, il ne sera pas simple de rentrer surtout qu'il faudra pirater l'antenne pour pouvoir continuer à communiquer une fois à l'intérieur. Joanna arrive sur l'héliport et va devoir atteindre le Hangar.

Shut down air intercept radar

This device was able to penetrate the allied craft's stealth shield, allowing the robot interceptors to bring it down. To escape, destroy the radar control unit using explosives. It is likely underground, surrounded by computer equipment.

Plant comms device on antenna

The underground areas of Sector 51 are protected against eavesdropping devices, which will cut our link with you as soon as you enter the base. To fix this, place a Comms Rider on the satellite antenna near the entrance.

Disable all robot interceptors

Once the radar is down, the robot interceptors will be a problem for you. Destroy as many grounded units as possible. Our latest satellite photo reveals two, but there may be more.

Gain access to hangar lift

Going through the main entrance would be pure suicide. Use the hangar lift instead. Our contact confirms that a card carried by a technician will operate it.

Make contact with CI spy

Our agent will be disguised as a guard, which will force him to stay at his post so as not to attract attention. So you must find him. He is on one of the two hangar levels. Unfortunately we have no further detail than that.

Fin de la mission

A peine entrée qu'un coup de feu retentit. Le garde a l'entrée était un vrai garde et l'espion a sauvé Joanna en lui tirant dans le dos.
