The Area 51: Escape cheat code is unlocked by finishing the level in under 3:50 on Agent. This unlocks the Invincible cheat.

Mission : Area 51: Escape

Briefing

A craft carrying Institute advisors was shot down over Nevada. The debris and the bodies found at the crash site were transferred to Area 51. A spy has informed us of the possible presence of a survivor. Your mission will be to save and recover the survivor.

Carrington

I know you have questions, Joanna, but this isn't the time for answers. I can only tell you that the creature you rescued is a Maian, bodyguard of the ambassador who was aboard the downed ship. The rest of the data will be sent to you later

Mission intro

The escape gets off to a bad start: on top of dragging along a stretcher (a floating one, thankfully), a surgeon has filled the room with gas, so you'll need to move quickly.

Locate Alien AutoSurgeon Device

All Maian craft are equipped with an 'auto-surgical capsule'. It's the fastest way to revive your companion. These devices are calibrated for Maian physiology. You will find this device in the wreckage or among the ship's remains transferred to the labs.

Rendezvous With Agent

Jonathan has contacted us. He believes he has been discovered. He could be neutralized within minutes. Find him before the patrols do.

Gain Entry to Secret Hangar

Our agent was unable to get into the hangar before, as that would have blown his cover, but we no longer have time for such concerns. Protect Jonathan while he tries to open the hangar door, behind which a Maian ship is believed to be.

Revive Maian Bodyguard

Revive the Maian before you flee: an anti-grav stretcher could prove quite cumbersome in a firefight. Once he is up and operational, he will be able to pilot the Maian ship out of Area 51.

Escape from Area 51

Bring the Maian bodyguard to the ship first. Then you and Jonathan will board. You should be able to fly off and get through the defenses you disabled earlier.

Mission ending

For once, there are 2 different endings. One with Joanna in the shuttle and the other with Jonathan. Either way, Elvis is at the controls. If Joanna isn't in the shuttle, she'll see it fly past from the entrance to Area 51 (she really sprinted to get out). In fact, only if Joanna leaves on foot will you get the message saying the objective is a success. Joanna will leave the heat of Nevada for her next mission, which will take place in snowy Alaska - Air Base: Espionage.
